Daisy Cotty

Creativity has always been a big part of how I see the world. I’ve always been drawn to capturing moments — the way light hits a wall, a quiet expression, or the atmosphere of a space. That curiosity naturally led me into photography and videography, where I found a way to express emotions and stories visually rather than through words.

I’m now studying a Level 3 UAL Creative Media Production course, which has allowed me to explore different areas of media and develop both my technical and creative skills. Through this, I’ve discovered how much I enjoy experimenting with tone, lighting, and movement to create certain moods and meanings within my work.

A lot of my projects explore ideas of femininity, connection and shadow shown through this portfolio — themes that feel personal but universal at the same time. I’m inspired by film, music, and photography, and I love blending those influences into my own style. As I continue to grow creatively, I want to keep making work that feels genuine and visually expressive, using media as a way to connect emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling. - Daisy Cotty
